HEIMAT ATLANTICA was founded in Paris in 2016 by Montserrat Alvarez to create a 100% made in Europe brand which works to preserve and transform specific craft women living in the Atlantic coast of north Spain and Portugal. Created as a project about weaving tradition into modernity through the processes of art history, design and collage in space, conventions and time.
